When designing your website, a lot of options come into play.  This worksheet can be used as your checklist and help guide you toward gathering information you may need to create your website. The more prepared you are (and therefore we are), the less time it will take to complete your project.  It will also assist us in understanding your needs.

Please keep in mind that additional information that is added after your price quote will be reflected in the final cost of the project.

Footers appear at the bottom of the website - you can have a one, two or three column footer to include additional information about your website.
What colors do you want for your site?
Does your Company already have branding colors? For example, some companies have certain company colors (RGB) they must adhere to per their advertising and marketing departments.
Add as many websites that you like as possible (www.omegawebsites.com). This will give us an idea of your taste and preferences. What is it that you like about them?
Do you have certain fonts in mind for your body text, headers, footers, sidebar? Examples include Tahoma, Arial, Georgia, Times New Roman, Verdana, Helvetica, Serif or Sans-Serif, etc.
Do you want photos on your website? Approximately how many? Do you have them available or will you need to purchase stock photos? (Please keep copyright laws in mind.)
Will you be including videos? What format are they in (Example: YouTube, etc.)
Will you need forms on your website? How many? Which types (i.e. Contact Me, Form with radio buttons or drop-downs, etc).
Will you need an online shopping cart? Approximately how many items?
Do you need a way for customers to make online payments? PayPal? Visa / MasterCard / Discover, etc? Credit card processor?
Will you have a page with links to other sites? For example, a page with "Helpful Links?" Approximately how many links?
Will you need programming, code, scripts, Java, etc? Example: Calculator for Mortgage Payments, Google Maps, etc.
Do you already have a flash movie (.swf) file that will need to be included? (i.e.: Horse that runs across the page or an introduction). Will you need Flash Development? Please be as specific as possible.
Will you need a photo gallery? Approximately how many slides? Will all of the photos need to be named after upload? Will your slides need to be updated often? Who will be updating (we can do this or teach you to do this)?
Have you already purchased web hosting? If so, where? If you don't know what web hosting is... we can help you get that set up (actually prefer it).
Do you already have a domain name set up? (Example: www.omegawebsites.com.) If so, what is the URL? (URL is the http://www... address.) If not, we can help with this as well (actually prefer).
Will you need an email account set up under your domain name (i.e.: you@omegawebsites.com). When setting up your domain name, most offer email accounts that can be set up under your account name. We can set this up when setting up your domain for you.
Will you need to make updates yourself?
Will you need a lesson if you will be making the updates yourself (see above)?
Will you need monthly maintenance on your website such as textual changes, photos or new products?
Will you need to purchase an additional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Package? SEO refers to how search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing find your website and how high of a ranking (how high up in the search results) you are.
Do you already have the content prepared that will be included on each page such as "About Us?" Do you have brochures, flyers, etc.?
Do you already have a logo developed?
Will you need business cards?
What is the overall impression you want your visitors to have? Who are your primary competitors? What are your goals for this website? Who is your ideal customer?
